FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Compounds
Are you licensed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)?

Yes. Apotheca Integrative Pharmacy is the pioneer specialty compounding community pharmacy licensed by the Philippine Food and Drug Authority in 2014.

Are your products licensed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)?

No, each compound we produce does not require product registration. As a licensed facility to compound both non-sterile and sterile medication, we customize medication per prescription and per patient, unlike a manufacturing pharmaceutical company that produces medicine in volume that requires a Certificate of Product Registration (CPR).

If I don't have a prescription, what can I do?

We recommend you to first check with your Doctor and let him or her know about your interest in custom compounds to be given a prescription.

If you are in need of one, we can refer you to our healthcare practitioner affiliates. Please call us and we will be happy to provide you with more details.

What is your return policy for compounded medication?

Apotheca Integrative Pharmacy does not accept returns, as prescription compounds are made to order. Confirmed orders are final and are scheduled for laboratory compounding once acknowledged by our Pharmacists via email.

Do I need to open an account on the website to order a new prescription?

Yes, account registration is needed to be able to submit digital copies of your prescriptions, log order details, receive email notifications for order confirmations and delivery status updates, and access your order history.

I have multiple prescriptions; how can I order?

After creating an account, you may submit multiple prescriptions as required. Always remember to keep original prescription orders for submission as these will be collected by the Pharmacy as orders are picked up or delivered for regulatory compliance.

I was given a prescription that allows order refills. How do I refill my medication order?

From placing orders in your account, just upload your original prescription previously used. The Pharmacy shall only collect this original prescription once it has been completely filled upon delivery or as arranged.

“Before when I was taking commercial progesterone tablets, I had experienced some side effects like headache, upset stomach and insomnia. But when I shifted to compounded medication, I was extremely grateful for the result, because not only did it help regularize my menstruation, I did not experience any side effect at all. Thanks to Dr. Sheree Bondoc who explained to me what my body really needs and Apotheca Integrative Pharmacy, a compounding Pharmacy in the Philippines, compounded medication changed my life.”

“It has always been challenging for me to find the right vitamins for my body. With certain medications, I’d suffer unpleasant side effects—hyperacidity, nausea, and heartburn, among others—and I would search locally and overseas for what suited my needs. When my doctor recommended Apotheca, I was able to take in the vitamins I needed—Vitamin C, Zinc, and Vitamin D3, all in one—without experiencing unpleasant side effects. Now that my health is my foremost priority, Apotheca’s personalized healthcare solutions came at a perfect time.”
